Booking Terms and Conditions

  1. Introduction

1.1. In these booking conditions ‘you’ and ‘your’ means all people named on the booking (including anyone which is added or replaced at a later date). ‘We’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ means Woodthorpe Leisure Park Limited, Woodthorpe, Alford, Lincolnshire, LN13 0DD.

1.2. ‘Accommodation’ refers to properties and touring pitches.

1.3.  By booking with us, you confirm that you agree to comply with and accept these booking conditions and the following information which we will provide to you. We will not be legally responsible to you if you breach these booking conditions and or for any costs or expenses you pay due to not being able to stay in the accommodation, such as the cost of finding alternative accommodation. Neither are we under any obligation to find any alternative accommodation for you.

1.4. The person completing the booking is responsible for the conduct of their party, it is your responsibility to read theses booking conditions and abide by the rules therein. Not reading this is not an excuse for infringement. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract and loss of the booking without refund.

  1. Your use of the booking

2.1.  The accommodation that we advertise is for the sole purpose of holiday lettings and/or must never be occupied as your principal home. Accordingly, you agree and accept that you are not offered any rights to the accommodation other than the right to occupy the accommodation as holiday accommodation for the period of your booking. No booking of any kind is an ‘Assured Short hold Tenancy’ or protected under the Protection from Eviction Act 1977, or any similar legislation that applies in Scotland.

2.2.  Our booking services with you are available for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not offer for resale any booking services.

  1. Website details

3.1. We aim to make sure that information we provide about our facilities or services, is accurate and complete on the date given. Descriptions are intended to present a general idea of the accommodation and do not constitute any advice or recommendation by us.

3.2. There may be small differences between the accommodation and its description. This is usually because we are always aiming to improve services and facilities. Certain items in photos (soft furnishings etc.) are subject to change and may not always be exactly as shown. Please check specific concerns before booking.

3.3. Occasionally, some facilities or services may not be available or may be restricted. If this happens, we will tell you as soon as reasonably practical after we become aware.

3.4. Where Wi-Fi is an advertised facility, its provision is subject to availability and network conditions. It may not be available 24 hours a day and is provided for pleasure, not for business purposes.

3.5. We cannot accept responsibility for any changes or closures to local services or attractions.

  1. Making your booking

You must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking; be authorised to make the booking by all adult party members; and ensure that they are aware of, and agree to comply with, these booking conditions.

4.1.  You are responsible for making all payments to us.

4.2.  You must ensure that all information you provide to us is true, accurate, current and complete. You must update us promptly if your details change. You are responsible for satisfying yourself that the accommodation and location meet your party’s needs before booking.

4.3.  You must inform us in writing of any medical condition or disability affecting you or any party member, and any special requests, before confirming your booking.

4.4.  Once we have received the required deposit payment from you, we will send you written confirmation of your booking. This is when your binding contract with us begins.

4.5.  We reserve the right to refuse any booking. If we do so, we will promptly let you know and refund you, but neither we will not have any legal or financial responsibility to you.

4.6.  As soon as you receive your confirmation, please check the details carefully and let us know immediately if anything is incorrect. We are not responsible for any errors in any documentation, except where the error is made by us.

4.7.  Even if we have sent you a written confirmation we have the right to cancel a booking where there are reasonable grounds to believe that (i) the booking is not legitimate; (ii) you are likely to breach these booking conditions or any restrictions or requirements stated on the accommodation advertisement; (iii) you have provided incorrect information; (iv) you have behaved in a vexatious, abusive or unlawful manner to our staff. If we cancel your booking in these circumstances, we will tell you in writing and we will not have any legal or financial responsibility to you.

4.8.  We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover you and your party’s needs for your total stay.

4.9. Touring Field Specifically: If you make a booking on our Touring Field, we are happy to reserve specific, individual or adjacent pitches where practicable and subject to availability and we will do our best to meet your requirements although this is not always possible.  Pitches are allocated on a first – come – first - serve basis at the time of booking. All guests are requested that when setting up, a 6-metre gap is maintained between your accommodation and your neighbours. Anyone not adhering to this will be asked to move.

  1. Payment

5.1. When you book, you should pay the deposit amount or the full amount of the booking if you are booking within 28 days of arrival.

5.2. Deposits are non refundable.

5.3. Bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of the deposit.

5.4. We must then receive the balance of the monies owed no less than 28 days prior to the arrival date. If you do not pay all monies due in relation to your booking by the appropriate date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking with immediate effect. Please note that your deposit will not be refunded.

5.5. Holiday cancellation insurance is the responsibility of the customer.

5.6. You must pay by debit or credit card, and we only accept payment in pounds sterling. There is no charge for debit or credit card payments. However, if your bank refuses to make payment for any reason, an administration charge of £35 will apply.

 

  1. Deposit

6.1.  For most bookings, we will ask you to pay a non-refundable deposit, to secure your booking.

6.2. £15 Touring (for stays up to 7 days) 

6.3. £30 Touring (for stays between 7 to 14 days)

6.4. £50 caravans

6.5. £100 all other bookable accommodation on our park.

 

  1. Pricing

7.1.  We keep the prices charged under constant review and the prices of unsold accommodation may be increased or decreased at any time. We may also correct mistakes in the pricing of unsold accommodation at any time. We will confirm the price of your booking when you make it. As changes and mistakes can happen, you must check the price and all other details of your chosen accommodation at the time of booking.

7.2.  All quoted prices include any taxes and charges which may apply at the time of booking. Any changes in tax rates or government charges may result in additional amounts becoming payable post-booking.

7.3.  Prices are for the entire accommodation and are not per person, except when an extra person charge applies.

7.4. Additional Add-ons (but not limited to) adding a pet to a pet friendly accommodation, adding towel packs in some accommodation come at an extra charge, which you can ask our reception about or view our website for more details and charges.

7.5.  Where relevant we charge booking fees, administration and cancellation charges for the services we provide in administering your booking. Any booking or handling fees will be stated on our website or notified to you during the booking process and will be shown as a separate charge on your confirmation. Our charges are: £15 for Touring and £35 for all other accommodation.

  1. Changing your booking.

After you have paid your Deposit/Balance you may wish to change some elements of the Holiday, e.g. type of accommodation, date or duration. We will try to meet your request. It may be necessary to cancel your break due to illness, accident or change of circumstances. We cannot guarantee a refund, however we will endeavour to come to an arrangement. Failure to arrive without satisfactory explanation or written cancellation will not be entitled to a transfer of stay.

8.1 If you want to move your booking, and you tell us 28 days or more before your check-in day:

  • You will be charged the admin fee that applies: £15 for a Touring field booking and £35 for all other accommodation.
  • You will be charged the difference if moved to a more expensive time of year or more expensive accommodation.
  • If you wish to move accommodation type or move to a cheaper time of year, admin fees will apply. Please note: if your holiday has been paid in full no refunds will be issued.

8.2 If you want to move your booking, and you tell us between 27 and 14 days before your check-in day:

  • You will be charged an adjusted admin fee of £15 for a Touring field booking and £50 for all other accommodation.
  • You will be charged the difference if moved to a more expensive time of year or more expensive accommodation.
  • If you wish to move accommodation type or move to a cheaper time of year, admin fees will apply, and you will not be refunded.

8.3 If you want to move your booking, and you tell us between 13 days and on the day of arrival:

  • You will be charged an adjusted admin fee of £15 for a Touring field booking and £100 for all other accommodation.
  • You will be charged the difference if moved to a more expensive time of year or more expensive accommodation.
  • If you wish to move accommodation type or move to a cheaper time of year, admin fees will apply, and you will not be refunded.

8.4. If you wish to move your booking but do not yet know the dates of your new booking, we can on a case-by-case basis retain any monies already paid but no longer that 28 days from cancellation, and all new bookings must be within 12 months of the cancellation date. Admin fees will apply as per annex cancellation 9.

  1. Cancellations and Part Cancellations: 

9.1. If any person(s) in your party needs to cancel, this will not affect the total cost of your booking.

9.2. No refunds are payable if you cut short your stay.

9.3. If you must, or want to, cancel your booking after it has been confirmed, you must notify us as soon as possible. The day we receive your notice by phone or email to cancel is the date on which we will cancel your booking.

9.4.If you want to cancel 28 days prior to your check-in day:

  • If you have already paid in full then you will receive a refund minus a further £15 for a Touring field booking and £35 for all other accommodation.
  • If you haven’t already paid in full then you will lose your deposit and you will have to pay us £15 for a Touring field booking and £35 for all other accommodation.

9.5.If you want to cancel between 27 and 14 days prior to your check-in day:

  • You will have paid in full and will only receive a 50% refund minus a further £15 for a Touring field booking and £50 for all other accommodation.

9.6. If you want to cancel up to 13 days prior to your check-in day:

  • You will have paid in full, and you will receive no refund plus you will be charged £15 for a Touring field booking and £100 for all other accommodation.

  1. Cancellations or Changes by us

We always endeavour not to change the date or cancel your booking, but in exceptional circumstances this may be necessary. We will inform you of the changes as soon as possible and give you the following options however, we will not have any further liability to you.

i). Accept the alternative arrangements as notified to you (You may have to pay any difference in price, or you will be reimbursed the difference if the cost of the new accommodation is lower)

ii). Choose another available break from us (You may have to pay any difference in price, or you will be reimbursed the difference if the cost of the new accommodation is lower)

iii). Cancel your holiday with a refund of any money you have paid.

  1. Your obligations

11.1. Arrival and departure

For accommodation bookings we strive to have our accommodation ready for check in by 4pm on your day of arrival and we ask that it must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure (unless we tell you otherwise) Extra charges apply for late check outs and we cannot guarantee this service will be available to you, you can ask our reception team for more information. For touring field bookings, you may arrive any time after 12pm on the first day of your booking and must leave by 11am on the last day (unless we tell you otherwise). If your arrival is delayed beyond 8pm on the start date, you must notify us on 01507 450 294 before 4pm. Failure to do so may result in difficulty accessing the accommodation. If you fail to arrive by 12 noon on the second day of your booking and haven't informed us of your late arrival, we may consider your booking cancelled by you, with no refund payable. If you are checking-in during reception opening hours, then please pop in and see us at reception to pick up your keys or be shown to your pitch (even if you have visited us before). If our reception is closed, please visit ‘Woodys Bar & Restaurant’ across the car park to check-in. Please Note: Check-in is no later than 8pm, please call us if this is not achievable.

11.2.  Behaviour

We can deny access to the accommodation or end your stay if anyone in your party behaves unreasonably, causes offense or damage, disrupts others, or violates booking conditions or restrictions on the accommodation advertisement. If we believe this is likely or if any such behaviour occurs, the contract will end, you must leave immediately, no refund will be given, and you may be responsible for any costs incurred to us due to your behaviour. We have no further responsibility to you; we will treat these circumstances as a cancellation by you. You and your party agree:

  • To keep the accommodation clean and tidy, and leave it in the same condition as you found it (If in our opinion, additional cleaning and/or repairs are required, you will be responsible for the cost;)
  • Not to use the accommodation for any illegal or commercial purpose and not break any law.
  • Not to sublet the accommodation or any part of it or otherwise allow anyone not in your party to stay.
  • Not to behave in an anti-social manner or act in a way which may disrupt or affect the enjoyment of others.
  • To comply with any restrictions or requirements specified in the accommodation advertisement, such as regarding party composition; and that failure to comply with the above will result in your booking being cancelled and we will not have any legal or financial responsibility to you.
  • You must finish any party or stop making loud noise by 10:30pm
  • You may only consume alcoholic drinks within the boundaries of your pitch or on the parks licenced premises.
  • You must not use a drone, powered model aircraft or any other powered flying object on the park without prior consent from us.
  • You must not deposit refuse outside your accommodation/touring pitch. You should use the refuse bins provided. Recycling points are available on the park, and you should use these facilities where appropriate.

11.3.  Maximum occupancy

You and your party agree to follow the maximum occupancy for overnight stays as stated on the website and to obtain our consent for any visitors or events (such as parties/celebrations or gatherings). You must tell us before booking if your group booking is a stag/hen party. We reserve the right to refuse these bookings. Failure to comply with these obligations could result in cancellation of your booking, refusal of entry to accommodation or repossession, with no refund payable to you and we will not be legally responsible to you because of this situation (for example, for any costs or expenses you have to pay due to not being able to stay in the accommodation, such as the cost of finding alternative accommodation). Neither are we under any obligation to find any alternative accommodation for you.

11.4.  Pets

Dogs (unless a registered assistance dog) are not allowed unless the accommodation advert specifically says that they are (and a charge may be payable if so – no charge for registered assistance dogs). If you want to bring any other pet, you must obtain our consent in advance. We can refuse to hand over the accommodation to you, or can repossess it, if you bring a pet with you when it is not allowed or where we believe an animal may be dangerous or may disrupt or affect the enjoyment of others, including any animals on site or close by. (We do not allow dogs described in the Dangerous Dogs Act on park). You are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of your pet at all times. Pets are not allowed upstairs, on beds or furniture, or in some shared facilities such as our shop and must not be left on their own or with children in the accommodation or garden. If an accommodation offers a garden, this does not mean that it is suitable, secure or impenetrable to pets, you should check before booking. If you or any party member has a pet allergy, we cannot guarantee that pets have not stayed in your chosen accommodation, even if they are not pet friendly, nor can we accept any responsibility for any subsequent health reaction. We do not accept any responsibility for any pet related health reactions. We recommend that any pet must have insurance which includes sufficient pet liability cover, and you are always wholly responsible for the supervision and behaviour of your pet. You must always keep any dog on a lead on the park, unless in our ‘off-lead park’, and here you are still responsible for your pet. You must clean up if your animal defecates on the park using the waste bins provided.

11.5.  No Smoking (including e-cigarettes)

All accommodation is strictly non-smoking, an additional cleaning charge of £100 will be made to those who fail to observe this rule. In the nature of good housekeeping and safety please dispose of all cigarette butts in sand buckets provided at properties.

11.6.  Linen and Towels

Except for cots, bed linen is provided in all accommodation and beds (except for sofa beds) will be made up for you on your arrival. Towels are not provided free of charge for all accommodation, please check on our website to see which accommodation this is provided/not provided in, if you require extra or forget your own, they can be hired at a charge of £5 per pack, from reception.  Towel Packs include a hand towel and bath sheet. Hot Tub towels are not provided, please ensure that you provide your own.

11.7 Parking and Vehicles

Each Accommodation is provided with at least one car parking space (including the Touring Field) which may be next to or a short walk away from your accommodation. If you require to park additional vehicles these can be left in the main public car park. No lorries, trade vans, delivery vehicles or trucks are allowed to remain on the park. We cannot accept any responsibility or liability for loss or damage or accident to persons or vehicles whilst on the park. Vehicles should be driven with due care on park roads and within the speed limit of 10mph and 5mph in some locations which are signposted. You must not park on the grass or roadsides. We cannot allow delivery vehicles through our barrier to your accommodation, you must organise to meet with the driver in our main car park and take the goods to your accommodation by your own means of transport. You also must not tail gate through the barrier and have insurance for all vehicles you use on the park.

Please do not use quad bikes, trials bikes and powered scooters on the park and you must not carry out major vehicle repairs such as dismantling of part(s) of the engine or works which involve the removal of oil or other fuels. Electric vehicles must only be charged at designated electric vehicle charging points.

11.8. Hot Tubs/Saunas

Please ensure all guests read the important ‘hot tub guidelines’ before use which will be supplied at your accommodation and are below. We take care to ensure the hot tub is ready for you to use on arrival although whilst every attempt is made on some occasions due to the strict cleaning and disinfection procedure, we follow the hot tub may not have reached the required temperature and there could be a short delay before you can use it. The use of our hot tubs and saunas is at your own risk.  If the guidelines are not adhered too and the hot tub requires draining and refilling during your stay an additional charge of £100 will be made to you. We cannot be held responsible for the breakdown or cleaning of the hot tubs. If we know about a problem before you arrive, we will contact you to let you know.

You should NOT use the Hot Tub or Sauna if you:

  • Are pregnant, elderly, have a serious illness, or have a heart condition/disease, high or low blood pressure, diabetes or any other medical condition/which may affect your reaction to heat, please consult with your doctor first before using.
  • Have a contagious disease, infectious skin condition, open sores or wounds.
  • Have recently exercised or have had a heavy meal within one and half hours.
  • Are under the influence of alcohol or any drugs that may cause drowsiness or that raise or lower blood pressure.
  • Are a child under 5 – Children should be always supervised closely by a responsible adult.

When using the Hot Tub or Sauna:

  • Always shower before using.
  • Swim wear is always required.
  • No glass wear is allowed in or near the hot tub/sauna.
  • Enter and exit carefully as the area around may be slippery.
  • Do not use any soap or wear any lotions or oils. Do not use bubble bath in the hot tub as this can affect the water quality.
  • No diving or jumping.
  • You must keep long hair tied back and loose swimwear and jewelry away from jets and other compartments.
  • Do not exceed the maximum number of bathers (one per seat)
  • Do not enter if hot tub temperature is over 40 degrees Celsius
  • Always keep your head above the water.
  • Limit your soak to 15 minutes and cool off before re-entering.
  • Always replace the cover after using the hot tub and do not sit or lie down on the cover.
  • You must use your own towels and not the towels provided in your accommodation.

The above is applicable to Sauna use but also please be aware:

  • Saunas operate at a temperature of 60 – 80 °C. Ensure this is a temperature that is comfortable.
  • Food, drink, glass, plastic, and metal items such as phones, jewelry, glasses and contact lenses are prohibited in the sauna.
  • You should exit immediately if uncomfortable, dizzy, or lightheaded.
  • Never use the sauna heater without stones, it may cause a fire.
  • Excess heat or overuse can cause giddiness, nausea, and fainting.

11.9. Safety and use of equipment

Please take every care when on holiday to use equipment safely. All fires in accommodation (including gas fires) must be operated with adequate ventilation. They must be switched off before going to bed or leaving the accommodation. Candles and open flames are not to be used within our accommodation or on our touring field. Please do not tamper with any alarms including (but not limited to) smoke alarms and co2 alarms. If the battery noise is heard please alert reception immediately and we will renew the battery. Open fires, fire pits, Chinese lanterns, fireworks and ground level BBQs are not permitted for safety reasons. When you arrive, please familiarize yourself with the location of any safety equipment such as a fire extinguisher/fire blanket and read the operating instructions. Please also:

  • Familiarize yourself with the escape routes and with the layout of the property and location of light switches.
  • Always securely lock the property whenever you leave it and at night. Make sure windows are closed (and locked), where possible. Never leave valuables in open view.
  • Always climb/descend stairs/steps very carefully. Hold any handrail and walk slowly. Always accompany young children.
  • If you smell gas, report it immediately. Black sooty marks or stains and lazy orange flames on a gas appliance and excessive condensation in the room could indicate a faulty gas appliance.
  • Switch off electrical appliances at night and do not leave appliances like the TV, washing machines and driers running when you go out.
  • If the property has open fires or wood burning stoves, make sure you use the fireguard, keep children and pets under close supervision and ensure that the fire is safely out before you go to bed.
  • Something as simple as a window blind cord or chain can present a real danger to young children check all areas and keep all cords and chains out of reach of babies and young children.
  • Surfaces such as the decking, tiles and marble floors can be very slippery.
  • Equipment in children’s play areas should be safe and in good condition. You should satisfy yourself that the equipment is safe and in good condition before use.
  • Children should be always supervised by a responsible adult including but not limited to on Balconies, landings, corridors & walkways.
  • No person under the age of 17 is permitted to drive a golf buggy on or around the park or Golf Course.
  • Electric hook-ups are rated at 10amps/230v supply. Please do not exceed this limit.We regret that we do not permit the use of generators on the park. Continental Caravans must be arranged at the point of booking, via telephone, as they are only serviceable on specific pitches. Pup tents can only be used on a separate paid pitch, not on a pitch where there is another tent or caravan. Wastewater must be discharged into the marked disposal areas and not at water standpipes.
  • Ball Games – all ball games are prohibited between caravans and must be played on the playing field.

11.10. Damage:

Anyone defacing or causing damage to any buildings, equipment or property of the park faces immediate eviction and prosecution. The party leader ‘you’ will be responsible for and charged for any damage /loss caused by themselves or their visitors to the pitch, property and its contents or to any park facility or other resident’s property. If you discover that anything is missing or damaged on arrival, please notify us immediately. We expect the accommodation to be left in a reasonably clean and tidy state on departure. If, in our opinion, additional cleaning is required, you will be liable for the cost of this cleaning. Your personal belongings, vehicles and their accessories and contents are left at your own risk. Woodthorpe Leisure Park or its staff will not be liable for the loss, theft or damage of any property nor for any injury, accident or mishap to any person in the park. Customers must ensure that their property is secured and fully insured for any unforeseen eventuality. Woodthorpe Leisure Park reserves the right to ban individuals from future use of the park.

11.11. Right of Entry:

We reserve the right to enter the accommodation without prior notice in special circumstances including emergency situations (for example if repairs need to be carried out) or if there is a breach, or suspected breach, of booking conditions or any other applicable terms; and on reasonable prior notice to conduct inspections, including cases where you have reported issues with the accommodation. By agreeing to these terms, you consent to granting us or our representatives such access.

11.12. Disabilities and medical problems

If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability that may affect your booking, please tell us before you confirm your booking and give us full details. If we feel that we cannot reasonably and properly meet your needs, we can refuse or cancel the reservation.

  1. Complaints

12.1.  Complaints about our booking process:

You must tell us promptly (in writing) and before travelling about any complaints with our booking services. We cannot accept liability where complaints are not promptly reported, or for complaints for which we are not given the time to respond.

12.2.  Limitation:

We do not exclude or limit what we will be legally responsible for, including if death or personal injury is caused because of our, or our employees’, negligence, or for any criminal act we may commit. We cannot be held responsible for i) noise or disturbance which comes from beyond the boundaries of the accommodation, or which is beyond our control, ii) the failure of public utilities such as water, gas and electricity; iii) breakdown of mechanical equipment such as pumps, boilers; and iv) changes or closures to local services or attractions mentioned on our website. Even if everything goes wrong and you do not receive any benefit from the stay, and we are found to be wholly or partly responsible to you, we limit the maximum we will be liable to pay you to three times the rental cost of the accommodation.

12.3. Events Beyond Our Control:

We are not responsible, nor will we compensate you, for events beyond our control which could not be avoided, despite reasonable measures. Examples are warfare, terrorism, civil strife, significant health risks (e.g. epidemics, pandemics), weather, natural disasters, government or authority actions, industrial disputes/strikes, failure of utility services, lock closures, fires, leaks, unavoidable transport issues, breakdown of equipment or machinery, insolvency or bankruptcy of an owner or service provider, fire, and similar events. We reserve the right to decline your booking or to cancel it if we are required to do so by any law or government regulation.

12.4.  Complaints:

If you have a complaint about your accommodation or suffer an accident in it, you must: i) tell us immediately either via reception or/and in writing promptly; ii) allow us a chance to react/put right any issues before your departure; and iii) communicate with us directly about any follow up. It is often extremely difficult to sort out complaints properly unless we are told promptly. It can usually be sorted out straightaway; in particular, complaints that would only be temporary (for example, complaints on how the property is prepared or the heating not working) cannot possibly be investigated unless registered during your stay.

12.5. Formal Complaints:

If you still feel that the problem has not been dealt with to your satisfaction, you must put your complaint in writing to us within 7 days of returning from your stay via email to complaints@woodthorpeleisurepark.co.uk or write to us and post this to ‘Woodthorpe Leisure Park, Woodthorpe, Alford, Lincolnshire, LN13 0DD. Please provide full details of your booking, photos if applicable, add the nature of your complaint, and any relevant supporting information. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and aim to respond as soon as possible. Please note that failure to report an issue during your stay may impact our ability to investigate and resolve the matter satisfactorily. We have no legal responsibility to you for any refund or compensation. This clause will not affect your legal rights or any right you may have to bring legal proceedings against us. We do not accept formal complaints or accident notifications by social media. Failing to follow the above complaints process may affect your entitlement to claim compensation (if appropriate).

  1. Privacy

13.1.  Please see the Privacy Notice on our website which explains how we will process your personal information. By submitting your personal information to us, you agree to our use of the information.

13.2.  We may, but not always record telephone calls between us for monitoring and training purposes. In the event of a dispute, we reserve the right to review any recorded calls between us.

13.3. The information you give us in connection with your booking is held securely on our computer system and dealt with in accordance with the Data Protection Act. By providing us with the information you are deemed to accept this and to have the consent of all members of your party to this.  We keep this information to help us improve our services to you and to provide you with relevant information about our products and services by telephone, email and post. We will contact you to keep you informed of our latest news and offers. If you would prefer not to receive this information from us then please let us know in writing at Woodthorpe Leisure Park Limited, Woodthorpe, Alford, Lincolnshire, LN13 0DD. We will not disclose this information to any person outside of our company, other than our agents and contractors for the purpose of carrying out your instructions, unless we are legally required to do so or for the purpose of crime prevention.

13.4. We use CCTV cameras on our park for crime prevention and safety reasons.

Woodthorpe Leisure Park Limited shall not be liable in any way, to any person authorised or not, visiting the park in respect of

14.1. Any loss, damage or injury whether personal or to property by whomsoever to howsoever caused sustained by the permitted persons whilst on the park

14.2. Any goods sold on the park to the permitted persons in respect of which there shall be expressly excluded all statutory and implied warranties and conditions.

14.3. You (and such other permitted persons as is allowable) shall be answerable for and indemnify the park from and against all actions, cost claims proceedings and damages which may arise against the park by virtue of any act of omission or breach of any of the park’s conditions and regulations by you or such other permitted persons as aforesaid.

  1. Other terms

15.1.  No representative, agent or salesperson has the authority to amend or waive any of these booking conditions. No amendment, variation, or waiver of any of these booking conditions will be valid or have any effect unless accepted by us in writing.

15.2.  Any dispute, claim or other matter which may arise in relation to your booking will be governed by English law and you agree that any dispute will be dealt with exclusively by the courts of England.

15.3.  If a court or regulatory agency with proper jurisdiction determines that a provision of these booking conditions or any contract to which they apply is invalid, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted in a way to reflect as closely as possible the original intentions of the parties. If any provision is found to be invalid, the rest of these booking conditions will remain effective to the fullest extent permissible by applicable law.

15.4.  We may transfer our rights and obligations under these booking conditions to another person or organisation. If a transfer is planned, we will notify you. If you are unhappy with the transfer, contact us within 14 days of being notified to end the contract, and any advance payments for unprovided services will be refunded.
