The Strubby Memorial
Across the road from the Leisure Park and located on Strubby Airfield alongside the Aquatics centre is the Strubby Airfield Memorial.
On Sunday 24th August, 2014 the Strubby Memorial was unveiled at a special ceremony and is dedicated to all those who served at Strubby Airfield in War and Peace time.
The stunning memorial is well worth visiting during your stay with us. Information boards around the site give a brief introduction to the proud history of the Airfield and there are pictures from the ceremonial day.
The Strubby Memorial Fund was set up by Mrs Janet Stubbs to create the Strubby Memorial.
