Welcome to activities at Woodthorpe Leisure Park. Here you can do as much or as little as you like. As you enter the park, two well-stocked fishing lakes set the scene for your break. So if you fancy a spot of fishing, remember to pack your rods. With relaxation in mind, why not enjoy the fresh air of the countryside and practice your swing around the 18-hole, mature golf course? A course challenging enough to make for an exciting round of golf. We also have a fantastic Driving Range unique to the area and is open to everyone from beginners to experienced golfers.

Woodthorpe Hall Golf Course

We are a PAY and PLAY course, so no need to book a tee time.

When the reception is closed, you will not be able to hire a buggy or trolley and the course Marshall will collect your fees during your round, so please bring cash with you.

Per round, per person: £25.00 (weekdays) £30.00 (weekends & bank holidays)
Golf Buggies to hire £20.00 per round, £30.00 all day
Trolleys to hire £5.00 per round

Full set of clubs hire £7.00 per round

Twilight Golf
If you want to pay and play on our golf course after 2pm you will be charged a reduced rate from £15.

A little bit of History
Woodthorpe Golf Course was 9 holes with a distance of 3,944 yards. It became affiliated to the respective unions in 1986. Over the years yardage has been increased and it is now a full 18 hole course measuring 5,140 yards off the white tees, with an SSS of 65 and a Par of 67. Visitors over the age of 10 can enjoy the course by paying green fees on a daily basis, or why not join the club enabling you to play in league matches and use all the club's facilities.

Activities at Woodthorpe Leisure Park 25-Bay Driving Range

Our high-standard Driving Range houses a glass-fronted observation area, two high-level bays and 23 ground-level practice bays and most of the bays have automated Power tees. This fantastic facility is unique to the area and is open to everyone from experienced golfers to beginners, schools, disabled, people with learning difficulties, societies, clubs, corporate hospitality and any other interested parties. The peaceful surroundings guarantee you a wonderful golfing experience.

Ball drops at the Driving Range: 25 balls £3.00 - 50 balls £4.00 - 75 balls £5.00 - 100 balls £6.00, Driving Range Cards are available from park reception: 200 balls £10.00 - 500 balls £20.00 - 800 balls £30.00

Woodthorpe Fishing Lakes

Set in the picturesque grounds of the Leisure Park, Woodthorpe Hall fishing lake is ideal for young and old alike. Approximately 1 acre in size, it is well stocked with Carp, Tench, Rudd, Roach, Perch and Orfe.
Close to the Country Inn and within the confines of the park, it offers excellent fishing. Permits are available from the park shop on a daily and weekly basis for individuals or families. Young fishermen are welcome but those under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
